'Come in and sort this out' Streetly couple live with mould, damp and wet walls.
A couple who live in a Walsall Housing Group property - contacted 大象传媒 Radio WM claiming they've lived with mould, damp and wet walls for 8 years.
So our reporter Megan Jones went to see them - and spoke to Avril Searcy.
Walsall Housing Group say they take all cases of damp and mould very seriously - and were first made aware of the damp and mould at the property in December 2022.
They say they have "robust procedures in place to address any issues and they treat any reports as a matter of urgency.鈥
There are currently more than 120 thousand social homes across England with mould and damp.
Social housing providers in the West Midlands are planning to spend more than 1 point 5 billion pounds to tackle poor quality living conditions.
Many authorities say they're cracking down on poor standards after some recent high profile cases - including the tragic death of toddler Awaab Ishak in Rochdale.
