Essex couple row the Atlantic
An Essex couple have successfully rowed 3,000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean for charity, completing the challenge in 66 days.
Nina and Simon Crouchman, from Rowhedge near Colchester, took on the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge in December.
But it wasn't all plain sailing for the couple, who found themselves stranded for 11 days at one point when a rudder broke.
Nina and Simon have been telling ´óÏó´«Ã½ Essex's Sonia Watson how they were also let down at the last minute by two of their main sponsors pulling out. It means they are currently £4,000 short of the funds required to fly home from Antigua. But they've said they will be able to find the funds from somewhere.
