We have some amazing grassroots organisations in the West Midlands that use arts and crafts to create the changes that they want to see in their local communities.
Just like 'Arts in the Yard' - who have been based in East Birmingham for over 5 years working with artists and communities on some really creative projects.
Our Creative Lives reporter Trevor Pitt spoke to Nicola, Sidra and finally Mawaha Seita, who was leading a workshop in Hay Mills with the ‘Women of Yardley Unite’ group to find out all about how they use arts & crafts to bring people together and make stronger communities.
