In a UK exclusive interview, Dame Melinda Simmons, the British Ambassador to Ukraine, joined presenter Hayley Hassall on ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour on the anniversary of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Dame Melinda shared what her life as the Ambassador in Ukraine is like now, including moving away from windows to work during air raid sirens, how she keeps going and why she refuses to let the situation overwhelm her.

She also discussed how the war has impacted women, the resilience of local communities and the hope she has for the future of Ukraine.
