'Some residents will be able to go home once we confirm things are safe' Ladywood tower block floods
An MP is calling for an inquiry after a Birmingham tower block had to be evacuted because of flooding.
More than hundred and twenty people had to leave their homes at Brecon Tower in Ladywood on Tuesday night.
The local Labour MP Shabana Mahmood - says she's "deeply concerned" about what happened.
Birmingham City Council say the flood was caused by vandalism.
But some residents dispute this - saying they've been raising concerns about the block for a while.
Councillor Sharon Thompson - cabinet member for housing and neighbourhoods at Birmingham City Council - many thanks for speaking to us this morning.
