‘As soon as I got diagnosed, the plaster was ripped off’
The Weigh Up presenter Molly Smith looks back at the challenges of starting treatment for anorexia.
In the podcast, The Weigh Up: Eating Disorder Diaries, Molly guides listeners through the truths of eating disorders and learns how others have found their way up.
In episode one, she speaks to her mental health team about how she had not realised it was going to “get a lot harder before it got better” when she started treatment.
“As soon as I got diagnosed…that’s when the plaster was ripped off. That’s when I had to face all these difficult things,” she says.
