When you here the words Central Park, you may instantly think of the tall sky scrapers of New York.

But there is about to be a new Central Park in town - right next to Liverpool's waterfront!

Peel L&P鈥檚 plans for a brand-new public park, at the city's North Docks, have just been approved by Liverpool City Council.

It will become one of the city鈥檚 largest green spaces, spanning 4.7 acres and will form an important part of the next stage of the Liverpool Waters development.
