Cycle to freedom
Having been donated a bicycle by a local Glasgow charity, a young Yemeni asylum seeker finds purpose through cycling as he awaits a decision on his asylum application.
Jon Newell has been looking at the work of local charities in Glasgow and also highlighting some of the issues facing asylum seekers in the UK. It is about the importance of that single donation, the bicycle in this case, and what it can potentially lead to, as well as highlighting the joy and benefits of cycling itself.
