"I've been assaulted, I've been threatened."
Essex is one month into a trial where referees in one football league are wearing bodycams in the hope of combating abuse towards them.
They have been worn at 41 fixtures in the last month since the trial began, and so far they haven't needed to be activated.
´óÏó´«Ã½ Essex speaks to Joe, an 18-year-old referee from Romford, as well as Michelle Dorling, secretary of the Essex Senior League Secretary, Lukas Wood who is the Referee Development Officer at the Essex FA, and Kim Coster from Billericay FC Women.
