He will then travel to the Irish Republic, where he will visit Ballina, the town from which one of his great-great grandfathers left for the United States in 1850.
The Mayor of Ballina, Mark Duffy, told Newsday: 鈥淭here鈥檚 an incredible excitement鈥usinesses are decorating their shop fronts, there鈥檚 flags and buntings and banners going out across the town. The community are doing their utmost to make sure that we put our best foot forward and give a real true welcome to the president as he returns to Ballina for his third visit.鈥
