'You're never too old to learn something new'
A World War Two veteran from Leicestershire has been learning to speak German at the age of 100.
Richard Whateley-Knight from Glenfield served as a navigator during the Second World War, before his plane was shot down during the Battle of the Bulge.
Taken prisoner by the Nazis, he learnt some of the langauge in a POW camp, and has decided to take up lessons in later life.
Reporter David Pittam went to the study group the University of the Third Age in Glenfield to meet Richard - who started by talking about his experience of being a prisoner of war.
