School Paralympics hit Loughborough
More than 300 young people from more than 35 schools from all over the county are at Loughborough University to take part in the School Games Paralympic Festival.
It's specifically designed for young people who have special educational needs or more profound disabilities.
The Leicestershire and Rutland School Games is part of the national ‘School Games Programme’. It aims to keep participation in sport and physical activity at the heart of school life and provide more young people with the opportunity to participate, compete and achieve their personal best.
