Sky Blues Portraits, Ricky Hill
Eight football fans are about to get their stories told as part of a special exhibition.
With the Sky Blues potentailly on their way to the playoffs, eight fans are about to get their stories told as part of a special exhibition.
The football club has been working with Coventry Building Society to champion and celebrate the fans. They asked for people to nominate someone who makes the Sky Blues community better. Eight fans were chosen and matched with local artists who have been tasked with bringing their story to life.
The winning portrait will be on the cover of Saturday's match day programme.
We meet one of the eight, Ricky Hill.
Coventry Building Society were inundated with fabulous fan nominations with stories. They and Coventry City Football Club shortlisted eight winning fans and the artists were given just over two weeks to complete the artwork and submit for panel review. 聽The panel included CCFC Manager Mark Robins and will culminates in a celebration event at Coventry Building Society Arena on Saturday where fans and artists will come together to watch the match.
