Has Covid-19 come to an end?

The International Health Regulations Emergency Committee on Covid-19 has met for the 15th time to advise the WHO Director-General on whether the pandemic is still a public health emergency of international concern.

Newsday spoke to a medical expert who has a particular interest in what is known as Long Covid, Dr Monica Verduzco-Gutierrez of the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
