Unheard Sir David Attenborough interview about life in Leicester part of new exhibition
An exhibition dedicated to the Attenborough family has opened at the University of Leicester.
Sir David, Richard, and John all grew up on campus with their parents Frederick and Mary living there for 2 decades.
Frederick Attenborough was Principal of University College, Leicester from 1932 to 1951. A number of buildings on the University of Leicester campus are named after the Attenborough family after they helped to lay the foundation for Leicester gaining independent University status in the 1950s.
The exhibition also features an unheard interview from Sir David himself.
Reporter Ryan Dilks has been to have a look around and hear parts of the newly discovered interview.
