The Maldon Mud Race is back for 2023, with 300 runners dashing across the mudflats of Maldon, across the River Chelmer and over the mudflats again to raise money for charity.

The event attracted nearly 20,000 spectators last year, raising more than £35,000 for good causes.

´óÏó´«Ã½ Essex's Sonia Watson and Ben Fryer talk about the outfits that they're going to run in, as well as speaking to race organiser Brian Farrington, plus competitors Joel Hicks - who will be running the race naked once again - and Maisie Bourke, who will be racing in front of her mum, comedian Jo Brand, who will be the official starter of the race.
