"You're overweight, you're going to have a heart attack".
In 2020/21, nearly two-thirds of adults in mid and south Essex were found to be overweight or obese.
A plan has now been announced by the Mid and South Essex Integrated Care Board to focus on preventing avoidable deaths from cardiovascular disease, obesity and smoking.
