'I just want to keep Raj's legacy alive'
A Leicester woman who lost her husband to coronavirus has commemorated the third anniversary of his death by raising money for charity in his memory.
Sunita Aggarwal has so far raised over £100,000 for the Leicester Hospitals charity, and also for charitable groups in Sheffield where the family also have links.
Sunita Aggarwal's husband Raj tragically died in 2020 aged 51 during the first coronavirus lockdown - six days after he was admitted to Glenfield Hospital.
Her fundraiser ‘Do As Raj Would Do’ pays tribute to Raj’s giving nature and helping others.
Sunita explains how she's raised the money and where it's being spent to Summaya Mughal, along with Sunita Patel, Head of Corporate and Community Fundraising at the Leicester Hospitals Charity.
