A future alternative to meat?
It’s 10 years since the first lab-grown burger was unveiled.
We were told this could be the future alternative to meat.
So why is it only available to buy from one restaurant in one country and only on a Thursday?
Supporters say it will dramatically reduce the impact of livestock, but other studies suggest that cultivating meat in a lab might actually be worse for the planet.
