We're marking the passing of Tina Turner this morning

One of the biggest pop stars of her generation.

She sold more than 100 million records, won 12 Grammy Awards and was the first woman and first black artist to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine.

After a really tough start in life - she found love and contentment later in life and settled in Switzerland - where she's died at the age of 83.
