A Leicester couple have turned their love of Tudor history into a lifestyle.

Michael Sales and his wife Karen call themselves the 'Tudor Tourists'.

It started around five years ago after they were watching the Tudors on television over Christmas. For his wife's following birthday Michael treated them both to a stay in an historic castle.

Since then, their infectious enthusiam for the Tudor period has grown to the point that now they both tour the UK - and beyond - to explore castles, moats and anything Tudor related.

Michael explains to Summaya Mughal that Leicestershire is blessed with several connections to Tudor times.
