A 16 run victory over the Northern Diamonds at Headingley saw the Vipers leapfrog their opponents with just one round to go. Nancy Harman (32 not out off 19 balls) and Captain Georgia Adams helped the champions to 144-6, far more runs than had looked likely after a shaky first half of the innings. Former England bowler Anya Shrubsole then knocked the top off the home sides batting order reducing them to 5-3 at one stage. Harman said of Shrubsole's bowling "What a start, that really set us up for the rest of the game." Regarding her own batting performance which included 4x4 and 1x6, "It was nice to contribute."
