Last week, protesters took to the streets in Senegal after opposition leader Ousmane Sonko was sentenced to two years in prison.
The sentence could rule him out of running for president in next year鈥檚 elections.
At the same time, suggestions that President Macky Sall could run for a third term has also caused anger.
There have been more demonstrations amid political tensions in previous weeks.
So, what鈥檚 behind it all?
