Panama were the 32nd and final team to book their spot at the Women's World Cup. It will be their first time at a Women's World Cup. They defeated Papua New Guinea 2-0 in the semi-final playoff and then beat Paraguay 1-0 in the playoff final. Riley Tanner made her debut during the playoffs and scored in the second game against PNG. She was picked up by Washington Spirit in the NWSL draft earlier this year and has also been given a Disney inspired nickname by her teammates.
