Weymouth 'bike hero' looking to slow down after raising thousands for Dorset hospice
Danny Collins has raised thousands of pounds for Dorset charity Weldmar Hospicecare, which cared for his late wife. He's been fixing and selling bikes for them for almost a decade, generating around 拢1,000 a month which, according to Weldmar, helps provide care for up to 38 patients.
Danny told our reporter George Sharpe his love of work has helped to keep him going over the last eight years, but it's now time to "slow down" and find someone to continue his legacy.
