But that's exactly what's concerning scientists. They say the water around the UK, particularly off the east coast between Durham and Aberdeen, is much hotter than it should be for this time of year.
And it's not clear yet exactly why it's happening, although experts point to a range of potential reasons, including manmade climate change.
