Cast your mind back to when you were really little and it was the school assembly...... for some it was the highlight of the day because despite sitting crossed leged in lines on the hard school hall floor you were all taking part in something special.

As an enthusiastic music teacher plonked away on the ancient, slightly out of tune upright piano and the dust motes caught the light of the overhead projector.... you were one of a choir, hundreds strong, singing the words to these classic hymns.

If all that is bringing back happy childhood memories then later this summer there's the chance to live them again on a stage here in Kent.

Primary School Assembly Bangers is touring the country and comes to Maidstone's Hazlitt Theatre on Thursday 31st August.....
