Undercover policing was "a car crash waiting to happen" says former undercover officer in the Met Police
Liam Thomas is a former undercover detective for the Metropolitan Police, where he worked for nearly two decades. He told Jo Good about his memoir, as well as his thoughts on the recent Undercover Policing Inquiry report, which concluded that undercover tactics used between 1968 and 1982 were not justified and the unit should have been disbanded early on.
