Francesca Mapp from the British Hen Welfare Trust and Jacqui Pateman-Jones, who'll be coordinator of the Beaminster site once it has enough volunteers, are appealing for drivers to help deliver former egg laying hens from farms to the centre, so they can be rehomed instead of going to slaughter.
