"Bed blocking" in Shropshire hospitals
A patient deemed fit for discharge waited 88 days to leave the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford last year. 大象传媒 Radio Shropshire has obtained figures showing the extent of 'bed-blocking' on health services. 75-year-old Bill Childe from Broseley had to spend a night on a hospital corridor in May because there were no beds available, despite being diabetic and on dialysis.
