"How do you decide which dog to save and not to save?"
There are calls for robust action to be taken and for a full review of animal welfare legislation in Northern Ireland. It's after animal shelters reported an increase in unwanted dogs. The Causeway Coast Dog Rescue in Coleraine says it's now commonplace to have owners on their doorstep threatening to get their dogs euthanised. The same is happening at veterinary practices where owners would rather have their dog put down than pay for the animal's upkeep. Reporter Helen Jones has been to Coleraine. .
