Leicester to celebrate 'Indian Summer' festival
Final preparations are underway for Leicester's 'Indian Summer' Festival.
Now in its 13th year, the 3 day festival takes place at various venues across the city this weekend.
The annual event celebrates contemporary South Asian arts and culture - and this year Nitin Sawhney will be debuting his first music concert in Leicester, taking place at Curve Theatre on Sunday 23 July.
Indian Summer's popular outdoor cinema will also be returning on Friday 21st July with a Bollywood theme set to take audiences back on a nostalgic journey to 1975 with the renowned international blockbuster 'Sholay'. Revered as one of the greatest Indian movies of all time, this will be the first time the classic film will be screened as a large-scale outdoor experience in the East Midlands.
Festival Director Jiten Anand tells Ady what people can expect to experience at the many events happening across the weekend.
