Four Black Country swimmers go for world record
With a combined age of 233 - Lionel Spittle and his friends want to be the oldest combined mixed relay team to swim the Channel.
Lionel from Tettenhall will turn 70 just before the mammoth 21 mile swim.
His team is raising money for Brain Tumour Charity, 'Brainwaves' while a second team is fundraising for Birmingham Children's Hospital.
They also say they'll be thinking of Iain Hughes, the firefighter from Dudley who went missing last month whilst attempting the same challenge.
