Leicestershire Firefighters will this weekend compete in the 'British Firefighter Challenge'.

The challenge is an annual sporting event which pushes firefighters to their limits, provides a day of entertainment for spectators, and raises important funds for the Firefighters Charity. This year's event is taking place this weekend in Manchester City Centre.

For the first time, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue has entered retired members of the service, with the hope that it will bring them closer to their former colleagues.

Retired Station Manager Chris Bilby and Firefighter Raj Dard tell Jack Rafferty how they've been preparing for the weekend's activities.
