Maui mourns: 'There's been so much loss'
The first names of people killed in Maui have been released by officials, a week after fires devastated a huge part of the Hawaiian island.
At least 110 people died on the Pacific island. But the final death toll may not be known for up to ten days.
Newsday heard from Lance - a resident of the historic town of Lahaina which was destroyed within hours – about what happened to him and his family the day fires swept across this hometown.
"There's been so much loss. We're one of the lucky ones. I want Lahaina back."
