Dorset artist struggling to pay bills receives thousands of orders after call for help online
Sometimes we find the internet surprises us in times of need.
Anna Hamilton, a wildlife artist from Poole, put out a call for help with sales to her followers on X - formerly Twitter - because she was struggling to make ends meet this month. The response she received was enormous - sending her print sales into the thousands and attracting support from across the globe, as well as from celebrities. In fact, in three days she'd received more orders than she'd previously had over seven years!
As a result, she's handed in her notice at one of her two part-time jobs and is being supported by ''lots of lovely friends'' who are helping her get the orders out.
