Rose Matafeo

The actor and comedian reveals the music that has shaped her life.

Comedian, writer and actor Rose Matafeo grew up in New Zealand, the daughter of a Samoan father and a mother with Scottish/Croatian heritage. In 2018 she won the prestigious ‘Best Show’ at The Edinburgh Fringe for ‘Horndog' - only the second woman, and the first person of colour, to win it. As an actor, she was brilliant in the New Zealand movie Baby Done and she’s soon to be back on our screens in season three of her hit ´óÏó´«Ã½ series Starstruck.

We asked her to take a break from writing her new stand-up show and share her Inheritance Tracks with us.
