Nebraska volleyball sets 'nerve wracking' world attendance record

The record attendance for a women's sporting event has been broken at a United States college volleyball match when a crowd of 92,003 fans watched Nebraska beat Omaha at their Memorial Stadium. ''It was super special for all of us'' player, Harper Murray, told Newsday. We ''want the sport of volleyball to grow and this was a perfect opportunity for that.'' She said they figured out plans and practised at the stadium for days ahead of the match and when she walked out with the team, ''it was one of the best experiences she had ever been through. She held her teammate鈥檚 hand the whole time because it was so exciting, but also nerve wracking''. She said Nebraska 'have been selling out games for the past three years' and have now broken the US, World and NCAA attendance records.
