‘It’s a miracle for us’: Jess Learmonth has sights on motherhood and Paris
After being part of Great Britain’s Olympic gold medal winning triathlon mixed relay team at Tokyo 2020, Jess Learmonth had her sights firmly set on representing Team GB again in Paris.
But then an unexpected and wonderful thing happened – she fell pregnant in early 2023.
Still living what she describes as “a normal triathlete life” just a few weeks before her due date, Paris is still in her sights, but the British triathlete tells Sportshour’s Shabnam Younus-Jewell how her “miracle” pregnancy has allowed her to re-think her career plans.
