There鈥檚 pressure on the government over crumbling concrete in schools in England, which means some have had to delay opening or close buildings. The schools minister Nick Gibb says schools in England are receiving record funding. His department bid for 200 school refurbishments a year in 2021 but the Treasury only funded 50.
