Hants fifth win of the season consolidates third place.
Hampshire beat Somerset by 185 runs on the fourth day of their championship match at the Ageas Bowl. They bowled the visitors out for 316 in thier second innings. Centuries in the first innings from Liam Dawson and in the second from Nick Gubbins, helped Hampshire to a sizeable lead (501) when they declared.
Hants Captain James vince said "Getting over 300 (in the first innings) the way the wicket played was a good effort."
