Paralympian Scout Bassett has taken time away from her busy training schedule ahead the Paris Games next year to write a book. She explains to Sportshour's Caroline Barker about her life before and after adoption and coming to live in the USA from China, and also on what sport has meant to her life.

The On the Podium presenter has also been explaining the reasons behind her new book "Lucky Girl" which is a series of practical lessons to help people overcome what seems like insurmountable odds.
