Episode 15

Three antiques dealers head to a famous market in L鈥橧sle-sur-la-Sorgue, the Venice of Provence, where they compete to find two hidden treasures each to sell online for the most profit.

Antiques dealers Ian Humphries, Harry Khwaja and Jo Roberts are on a buying trip to the south of France. Their base is a historic farmhouse in Provence, perfectly located close to some of the country鈥檚 best antiques markets. This time, the trio are heading to a famous market in L鈥橧sle-sur-la-Sorgue, the Venice of Provence, where they compete to find two hidden treasures each to sell online for the most profit.

The trio鈥檚 first challenge is to find something they know will appeal to their loyal customers and social media followers. Former artist Jo is seduced by the story behind two vintage prints from fashion publication La Mode, but will they prove to be on trend for her customers? Traditional antiques fan Ian buys what he knows, picking up a pair of colourful majolica planters he鈥檚 confident will catch someone鈥檚 eye online.

Meanwhile, collector of curios Harry strikes a deal, spending a significant sum on a mysterious wooden figure and a pair of smaller puppets from one of the pricey shops attached to the market.

As usual, the dealers don鈥檛 only have to contend with the language barrier and a short selling period, as each day one gets the chance to turn up the pressure and set them all a challenge to shop to a specific brief. This time, it鈥檚 Harry鈥檚 turn, and he has challenged them to find out who will be crowned king of the jungle after picking up the best animal-themed piece.

With just a day to secure a sale and the battle on to make the most profit, which of our trio will come out on top?
