We've had a string of dog attacks in Merseyside, but does banning breeds help?
The home secretary says she's seeking urgent advice on banning American bully XL dogs after a video circulated of an eleven-year-old girl being attacked.
Suella Braverman described the attack in Birmingham as appalling, and says the breed is a particular danger to children.
