Migrant Voices: Euton's story

The stories of five different migrants from across Oxfordshire, exploring what home and belonging mean to them.

Dr Hosnieh Djafari Marbini hears from Euton Daley, a theatre maker who's been involved in the Oxford community for over 30 years. He came to the UK from Jamaica as a child in 1966 as part of the Windrush Generation, five years after his parents arrived.

Hosnieh and Euton talk about how his parents didn't feel like migrants, as they were invited over. They talk about how 'belonging' changes through a person's lifetime, about how your accent is a factor, and about how 'belonging' is about people but also about buildings where people come together.
