Liverpool's iconic waterfront. What's the future?
Liverpool's waterfront is world famous and one of the city's biggest assets.
In recent decades its gone through massive changes and there's more to come hopefully with the development of the festival Gardens and Everton's new football stadium. But it hasn't all been plain sailing and in recent years the waterfront lost its UNESCO World Heritage Status.
So what's the future for this area of the city? Liverpool City Council have announced it will be the subject of a new masterplan to ensure its continued growth.
