Laura Wolvaardt: "We definitely need a women鈥檚 SA20 League in the next two years"
South Africa鈥檚 interim captain Laura Wolvaardt says she would welcome the introduction of a women鈥檚 SA20 league in the country to grow the game.
Wolvaardt told Stumped鈥檚 Alison Mitchell that she believes the way the Women鈥檚 Big Bash League has developed in Australia is a perfect example of how integrating with the men鈥檚 league can benefit the women鈥檚 game and help players have more regular competitive cricket.
In February this year Sunrisers Eastern Cape won the inaugural men鈥檚 SA20 league.
