Hampshire recorded just their third One Day Cup final loss as they failed to chase down Leicestershire's total of 267-7. Hampshire had their opponenets 19-4 at one stage, but a maiden 'List A' century from Harry Swindells (117*) helped the Foxes recover to 267-7. Prest (51) & Dawson (57) seemed to have Hampshire on track, but in the end they finished on 265-8.

One Day Cup skipper Nick Gubbins said "(we were) so close to winning what would have been a massive acheivement for this group."
