'I will keep fighting'

Claire Reynolds is fighting for change after her daughter was killed by a drink and drug-fuelled driver.

Six-year-old Sharlotte was hit while walking to buy sweets near her home in Endon Road in Norton Green in June 2021.

Claire had to wait 11 weeks before the driver, John Owen's blood could be tested as he was in a coma.

She wants to introduce "Sharlotte's Law", which will allow blood samples to be tested without consent and has now won the backing of Stoke-on-Trent City Council and road safety charity Brake.
