A report says sick leave across the UK has soared to the highest level in a decade - with stress, COVID and the cost of living having an impact on well-being.
Sick leave across the UK has soared to the highest level in a decade. Research by the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development found staff took an average 7.8 sick days in the past year, up from 5.8 before the pandemic. The trade group said the rise was a "worry" and blamed stress, Covid and the cost-of-living crisis.
